MAVERICK NEWS

I am sending out flyers and membership forms this week. Please have your membership forms filled out and notarized. You can either mail the forms and your money, or bring them with you to the first rodeo. Please don't forget to have them notarized and have everything ready when you check in.

The Rodeo News Magezine will be our official newsletter this year. They will print the results along with pictures and various member profiles. The $15 family membership is included in your membership fees.

New this year: Everyone that brings in new sponsors will take home 20% of the amount you bring in. If you are good in marketing or sales, this could be some nice extra cash in your pocket. Be sure to talk to me about sponsor package details.

Congratulations to Tammy Cruikshank on her new bundle of joy, Erika JoNae. 7.5 lbs. I hear she's a cutie! I'm sure her parents are proud as can be. Can't wait to see her.

I think I can speak for everyone when I say the banquet this year was the best ever! After the long winter and high feed and fuel prices we were all ready to let loose and get just little bit wild! I would like to thank all of the contestants and parents for a job well done. With the high cost of feed we are definitly not making much on these rodeos, so it is wonderful to have so much help from the parents. I will try to get some of the results listed in the next couple of days.

Please don't forget to write thank-you notes to our major sponsors. Their address should be in the programs. We lost a few sponsors this year and we can't afford to lose anymore, so please write those notes.

Make sure to check the website or call before you haul if you have any question about the weather.
